We are proud to collaborate with a renowned “Made in Belgium” international structure in their search for a new Senior Manager / Director Tax. You will join a team of 8 tax specialists and be exposed to a diversified client portfolio (essentially international well-known firms and ambitious start-ups). This firm is different compared to the competition for its level of expertise and salary package, which is above the average for this type of position.
The firm’s owners created the company more than 40 years ago and currently employ 80 people. They act as a one-stop shop and offer their clients Accounting, Advisory, Direct and Indirect Tax, Legal, HR, and International Mobility services. With these services, they can deliver their clients’ impeccable service but still deliver tailor-made service, thanks to their medium size.

Your Responsibilities | Corporate Tax – Director - Consultancy
Your responsibilities will include the management of the team, meaning that you will be the one responsible for the review, management of issues, and needs to have a problem-solving approach ;
You will be involved in Business Development meetings. You do not need to bring a network and develop the client portfolio, but you will have to identify the need of your current clients and offer them tailor-made services and develop the relationship ;
Training is an essential part of your function. As the owners of the company want to offer a high level of quality, you will participate in the training of new team members and have to communicate new laws when applicable to the firm or your clients ;
Direct communication with clients is required; you know how to handle technical conversations and can popularize difficult subjects with your clients
Profile and Career Path | Corporate Tax – Director - Consultancy
To succeed in this function :
You have more than five years of experience acquired within a Belgian firm ;
A first experience in a managerial position is mandatory ;
You already had exposure to corporate tax and international clients ;
You speak fluent English (oral and written). Most of your colleagues are bilingual, and the spoken language daily with clients is English ;
You still want to learn and continue evolving in terms of responsibilities.
Offer | Corporate Tax – Director - Consultancy
Your salary package will be composed of a car leasing (Mercedes, BMW,…), a fuel card, meal vouchers, health insurance, and a pension plan ;
You will benefit from a generous bonus, reaching 25% of your annual remuneration. As the company grew since its creation, the employees always received a bonus in accordance with their performance ;
You will also have the possibility to enjoy five extra days off per year and the opportunity to work from home if necessary or to work part-time if needed ;
Depending on your current experience and objectives for the future, you will have the opportunity to become one of the firm’s Partners. Some employees joined the firm a few years ago as Junior and have been promoted to Partners ;
You will also receive a monthly gross salary of up to 8.000€ on a 13th-month basis
