Within a team of 30 people, composed of around 20 accountants, you will have the chance to take over a client portfolio consisting of prestigious clients, essentially financial companies, that are renowned and that will help you develop your technical skills.
The firm has an international presence and access to an extensive network of clients. You will benefit from exposure to multiple jurisdictions and access to a vast network of preferred Partners (Lawyers, notaries, banks, wealth managers,…). But not only the client portfolio is interesting but also the working environment. As the company is considered a medium-sized structure, they still have a human-oriented approach, meaning you will not be considered a number, and your opinion will be valued.
Offices are located in the city center, and you will enjoy an exceptional and bright office with multiples commodities (restaurants, gym, bar, swimming pool,…). Easily accessible by the tramway, you will never be far from your home place if you live in the city. In addition to these advantages, as the firm is growing, you can benefit from career prospects, if you wish to become a manager, for example.
Your Responsibilities | Senior Accountant – International - Holdings
Bookkeeping of the client’s file using the accounting software Winbooks ;
Preparation of the annual accounts in collaboration with the Head of the Department ;
Preparation of VAT & Tax returns and communication with external advisors when needed ;
Participation in the coaching and development of Junior Members ;
Consolidation of accounts under BE GAAP and IFRS.
Profile and Career Path | Senior Accountant – International - Holdings
You already received a degree in Accounting or a related field ;
You speak fluent English; knowledge of French would be considered an asset ;
Knowledge of BE GAAP and IFRS is considered a strong asset ;
Ability to work within a team, great communication skills are required ;
Around three years within a Big Four environment or a structure dealing with financial companies.
Offer | Senior Accountant – International - Holdings
Depending on your level of autonomy, your salary might reach 45€ per hour. If you wish to work under an employee status, there are no problems, as both statuses are feasible ;
You will receive meal vouchers worth 8€, net expenses (up to 250€/month), health insurance for you and your family, and a discretionary bonus at the end of the year ;
Interesting career prospects as the firm is growing, you will be able to climb the ladder and reach a position of Manager and later on a position as Director ;
As you will be exposed to international and complex clients, the firm will provide you with multiple technical trainings during the year, meaning that after a few years, your technical level will be above the average in Belgium ;
The unique possibility to work under a full-time contract with 40 hours a week, meaning that you will enjoy 32 days of holidays.
